The world's youngest citizen has just died at 18, and humankind is facing the likelihood of its own extinction. Set in and around a dystopian London fractious with violence and warring nationalistic sects, Children of Men follows the unexpected discovery of a lone pregnant woman and the desperate journey to deliver her to safety and restore faith for a future beyond those presently on Earth.Such is the premise for the movie, Children of Men, based on a 1992 novel by PD James and starring Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, Michael Caine and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The poster and trailer both have me amped to see this one!

Just one thing - I hate the title. Child of Men? I know "men" is being used as a term for humanity, but it always seems to me that "men" tends to be read as exclusively male. Just the feminist in me.

It's also interesting as the film centers around a pregnant woman.... ;o)
